Residence La Contessina - Florence

This place suits me perfectly. The staff assisted with local taxi info, and I enjoyed amenities like wi-fi, air conditioning, and kitchenette. I always feel at home here, and I'm coming back for a holiday.

We had a DELIGHTFUL stay in this lovely hotel. The location was marvellous and brilliant, within walking distance of a medieval cathedral. Plus it was in a pretty nice area. Fantastic service was provided here. Moreover, public parking was nearby.

The room was nicely decorated with TV set with satellite channels, climate control and a personal safe.

The staff were really helpful and caring and the design was nice. Lovely building and rooms with a double n single bed at the upper level. Comfortable location - short walk to super market, train station and centre of Florence as well as the train station and major attractions. For tea or coffee visit Triangolo delle Bermuda nearby. Really nice experience there.

The spacious two-room apartment was perfect for our family, and the charming decor added a lovely touch to our stay in Florence. Great access to attractions made exploring the city effortless.

We loved the space. This was an apartment rather a townhouse, all ground floor. There was a kitchen, living room and bathroom downstairs, with a loft bedroom. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, I wish we would have booked for longer. The price was excellent for the size and cleanliness. The accommodations were very close to all the attractions and to the Train-station. There was even a laundromat a few doors down.

Our shower had a leaking problem, but the staff promptly fixed the issue.

The owners of the hotel were wonderful! Everone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, a huge selection of pastry, fruit, yogurt,ceral,toast,juices and hot beverages. I'm sure I missed something but it seemed more than enough to start your day in a plesant, roomy dinning area. We arrived with a double reservation rather than a twin ( probably my fault) They immediately sat about correcting , the room was big and clean, with a very homey feel. The hotel would be perfect for families or a group because they have several apartments with complete kitchens and dinning areas.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff .Room cool in extremely hot weather .Hotel is set off the road and therefore quiet. Always a selection of homemade local sweet cakes and breads for breakfast.

Just a fine choice for a weekend stopover in Florence with reasonable value. The friendly staff always greeted everyone with a smile while taking custom drink orders. Bring your own kitchenware if you plan to cook, as they have limited supplies.

Had brand-new quadruple room with fully equipped kitchen and loft style plus regular fresh towels. The location of the hotel was excellent, near all the landmarks of Florence...

The location was very good. We were in the walled old city of Florence walking distance to all we needed to see.

Parking was very costly. They charged 30 euros per day to park in the courtyard at the hotel.

The location is excellent. The rooms are large and comfortable.

Getting a car in and out of the parking lot is quite a challenge, and we may still get fined for driving in the restricted zone to get in and out of the hotel. I understand the need for restricted driving zones, but it is very difficult for people who can't read Italian to understand. Fortunately, Florence is a walking town, but if you have to drive to and from the hotel, these zones and the traffic pattern in general are very challenging.
